Borrowed from an European design used on double guns, I found this design to be very adaptable to muzzleloaders or any rifle /shotgun with out swivels. Easily slip front loop over end of barrel then open cinch loop at other end and slip over butt stock. Cinch loop tight around wrist and your good to go. Adjusts to any size by sliding up and down barrel. Long Guns can be carried muzzle up or down (I prefer muzzle down) and if sights are at least 3/8" high you can still sight through them with sling attached. Short rifles are best carried muzzle down (see pictures) .

I am impressed with the quality of the sling. I have several muzzleloaders and side by side shotguns that I did not want to drill holes in the wood to install conventional straps. It has worked on all of the guns I have tried and looks great.

Quality made. Fits my fowler perfect. And can be switched to vàrious flint lock rifles with no problem.

I bought this for use with my Pedersoli .50 cal Kentucky Rifle (35 inch barrel). It's a well made sling with quality materials. The sling fits fine. However it takes a little finessing to get the front strap into a position to see the front sight. Probably not a big deal and can be mitigated with training. Overall I'm very happy with the value and prefer this to installing swivel studs.

I’ll be happy to review the sling but I haven’t received it yet.
Was it shipped USPS?
I’ve rated it 5 stars because I’m sure it will be fine.

Exceeded my expectations. Very well made & Fit perfectly. Complements my TVM Leman nicely and I expect it will last for a long time.

Sling is what I expected. Looks classy and functions well. I used a leather punch to put two holes through the barrel loop end (just under the barrel when installed) and used rawhide strip square knotted to tighten the loop to the barrel.

I bought the brown slip-on sling and it's by far the best of its type and it looks right on a nice gun.

TC Hawken, flint, Pedersoli scout, and modern in-line, works well on all. I like the look and I like the quality. Three thumbs up.

The sling is very well made and easily moved from rifle to rifle.
