Product Description

Borrowed from an European design used on double guns, I found this design to be very adaptable to muzzleloaders or any rifle /shotgun with out swivels. Easily slip front loop over end of barrel then open cinch loop at other end and slip over butt stock. Cinch loop tight around wrist and your good to go. Adjusts to any size by sliding up and down barrel. Long Guns can be carried muzzle up or down (I prefer muzzle down) and if sights are at least 3/8" high you can still sight through them with sling attached. Short rifles are best carried muzzle down (see pictures) .

    The sling is a wonderful purchase and easy placed on you weapon. I have three flintlocks with barrels of 30, 42 and 46 inches in length. The sling fits all three. Will make the trek into my stands much easier. Highly recommend this sling.

    Using this on a Shiloh Sharps Business Rifle .45/70. There is no provision for swivels on these rifles as they were evidently not intended for carrying much distances. I also have two flintlock long rifles that I can use it on. The fore loop fit nice an snug just past the forestock schnable section and the loop around the wrist fit just to the rear of the tang sight. The grip around the small of the stock is changed, but is acceptable. I haven't fit it to the long rifles yet, but if it fits, I would order another possibly. The quality is first rate and the price is a bargain.

    This works well with my Hawken. The sling is light and flexible so it could be rolled up and put in possibles bag when not in use. However, it it also very study and strong for its light weight. Very nice product and design for a non-swivel sling.

    Seems to be well made and fits my T/C Hawken nicely. Should work well for the limited hunting use it will get.
