H-301 Hunter Beavertail Bag
Product Description
This is an example of a medium sized D shaped bag used in many areas of the colonies during the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Bag measures 9" W X 8" H without a gusseted main pocket. The dipped topline of the bag along with the soft cowhide leather makes our bags fit snug to your hip. A flat 7 " w pocket is sewn to the front of the bag. All our possibles bags have a 5" wide flat pocket sewn to the inside back of the main pocket for easy access for balls, patches or what ever. The standard 2" X 50" strap is a custom webbing without any adjustment. An all leather strap with buckle is available as an option at a $25 extra cost. All our bag/strap configurations are made to be worn on the right hip unless otherwise instructed. We have our cowhide leather custom tanned for it distinct color and character but each side of leather is slightly different from the next in color and grain texture so each bag will have its own unique look and may vary slightly from the sample pictures.

I must say this bag is simply outstanding! Fantastic craftsmanship, perfect fit and leaps and bounds more comfortable than my old bag. And do not let the fact that this bag doesn’t have a gusset in the main pocket fool you! It is very spacious and there’s PLENTY of room for all your stuff!

Honestly, I’ve gotta say this bag is just amazing! Top marks! Built impressively well. Not to mention all the pockets. Gives me tons of room to put all the necessary items in it without feeling cluttered. 10/10 Love it!

I was very impressed with the overall quality and fit/finish of the bag, although my inspection period abruptly ended when my flinty-loving 13 year old daughter began wearing the bag non-stop, likely taken by the feel, appearance and wonderful saddle shop smell. The dipped top line does in deed impart some welcome hip stability. The optional leather strap is a worthy plus. At the range, aside from being the envy of other shooters, the bag performed perfectly, and was just the right size for the necessaries. Now I will need another one for me...

These are the BEST muzzleloader bags on the market! The materials, design, and quality cannot be beat! I own a couple of these bags and would highly recommend them to anyone!!!
