Powder horn #20

This screw-tip powder horn was made by Chris Helsel (Country Squirrel Horn Works).

The horn measures 11" tip to tip, 13-3/4" around the outside curve, and has a diameter of 2-3/8"

The plug and stopper are made from black walnut. The screw tip and finial are made of turned buffalo horn.

The finial is turned to look like an acorn.

This is a one-of-a-kind horn, and the horn pictured will be the one you receive. The maker Chris Helsel was just advanced to journeyman by the Honorable Company of Horners and has won multiple awards on his horns the Gunmakers Fair at Kempton as well as other events.
