Powder Horn #18

This southern inspired banded powder horn was made by Chris Helsel (Country Squirrel Horn Works). It measures 11" tip-to-tip, 2-3/4" in diameter, and is 15" around the outside curve. The plug and stopper are made from white ash. The tip is made from one piece of antler. The finial is an antique drawer pull.

This is a one-of-a-kind horn, and the horn pictured will be the one you receive. The maker Chris Helsel was just advanced to journeyman by the Honorable Company of Horners and has won multiple awards on his horns the Gunmakers Fair at Kempton as well as other events.
