Powder Horn #12

This Pennsylvania inspired screw-tip powder horn was made by Chris Helsel.

The horn is flattened and measures 11" tip to tip. The base plug is 3"x 3/4". The horn measures 11-3/4"around the curve. The plug is made from Curly maple and the stopper is made from hardwood. The tip is made from two pieces of cow horn.

This is a one-of-a-kind horn and the horn pictured will be the one you receive. The maker Chris Helsel was just advanced to journeyman by the Honorable Company of Horners and has won multiple awards on his horns the Gunmakers Fair at Kempton as well as other events.
