Product Description

NEW  This strap is made out of spun nylon materials to simulate cotton or wool woven into a 7/8" wide webbing. Many colonial women had small looms which they wove narrow straps for uses as sashes and straps for many uses including possibles bags and horn straps. Horn strap is fully adjustable and has antiqued steel dees attached at both ends which allows straps to adjust to any angle. There is a 1/4" strap attached to the dee rings that will attach to any configuration of horn. See additional pictures to see how strap is attached to a button end horn using artificial sinew. 1. Great Quality Straps

Posted by Gregg Condon on 22nd Jul 2022

I weave good authentic straps for pouches and horns, but Leatherman's are better than I can do and they take no time and effort on my part; I now buy Leatherman straps for all my pouch and horn projects.

  2. Typical Quality

Again, great service and product. Exactly what I ordered and needed for a new horn. Easy to attach in the way illustrated on the site and quality of product will last for a long time.

  3. Authentic

This strap is good length (so many others are too short)
Colors look like old-timey natural dies (so many others are too bright)
Good and durable; should last a lifetime

  4. A Good Looking Strap for Your Powder Horn

Posted by Unknown on 20th Feb 2019

This strap looks good and functions well as a strap for a powder horn. The jute weaving has an attractive pattern and is adjustable over it's entire length. The only small complaint I have is it does not come with a length of sinew to tie the leather straps that actually attach the strap to the horn. You are on your own to find something that looks appropriate and is a strong tie.

  5. Great Product

Very nice strap. I also appreciate the directions/suggestions for putting it on my powder horn on the product website page. This is just like all the other nice things that I have gotten from you. Thanks.
