Product Description

This beaver tail style belt bag accepts up to a 2 1/2" belt. Ouside dimensions are 8" W X 7" H. Made out of the same leather as the possibles bags so it coordinates with them . There is a short starter loop sewn to the left outside edge . The main pocket has a 2" gusset and an additional 4" pocket sewn to the inside back side. The belt loop is sewn to form another pocket between the back of the bag and the belt loop. Lastly a 4" wide pocket is sewn to the front of the bag giving this four pockets in all. You may want to also have a matching latigo belt to go with your bag. See our belts , sold separately.

    Got my grandson a Traditions Trapper to get him started in black powsder shooting. He loves it and wants to go "all in" with gear etc. A mature young man, he doesn't want evrything offered by Leatherman Prodects, but has chosen several items that help make his range time more productive, and after trying out several Items that I had previously purchased for myself he was taken by the quality, the looks and the functionality of this gear. He doesn't want to be a re-enactor (yet), but he is enthusiatic about learning the historic significance of the this part of the American gun culture. Come Christmas morning, he will likely feel like he has joined the community of muzzleloaders when we go to the range. Thanks, Leatherman for making these great procucts availble to all of us who enjoy the black powder sports

    I recently purchased the HB-801 Hunting Belt Bag to use for my “Frontier Rifleman/Longhunter” reenacting persona. Since I have another of their bags, I got it because it matches my first bag and secondly, I know I’ll have it for a lifetime.
    These bags are made of the highest quality material and workmanship. They are period correct for my time period and can stand up to whatever you put them through.
    This is the second bag I have purchased from “The Leatherman, Traditional Leather Products” company.
    My first bag was a custom-made TR-600 Trapper Possibles bag with a full front flap instead of the beavertail flap. I’ve had the bag for about 7 years and have put it through the ringer many times and it is as nice as the day I got it.
    If you are in the market for a shooting bag that will last a lifetime you’ve come to the right place.
    Additionally…I only gave this bag 5 stars because 10 stars wasn’t available.

    This bag is the perfect size for a hunt. the leather is good quality and looks like it's going to wear well. Been looking for a belt bag that wasn't too small. This is the one.

    I ordered this bag after watching the YouTube video showing all the different products made by TheLeatherMan. This belt bag is perfect for my needs. I plan to use it to hold my muzzleloading gear while at the range and hunting. Gear that fits easily inside (balls,patches,caps,measure,powder,tool pouch, etc.
